L'imputabilité a été considérée comme douteuse par les autorités et le laboratoire.

Discussion

No No SJLD..I really appreciate your answers..the suggestion is important to me as you have experience in this field..the biluingal part can be wrong but not your experience..Please...
SJLD Sep 6, 2011:
Sorry but I can't really be bothered for someone who can't be bothered to correct OCR errors in the source text when posting.
Claire Nolan Sep 6, 2011:
SJLD is an expert in this field; I would like to hear what her translation would be, given the additional context provided by the asker. It's unfortunate that the question was closed before SJLD could weigh in further on this. But I also think we have to respect the person who is translating the text, who has the wider context and who is therefore a better judge of what would ''fit'' in that context.
SJLD Sep 6, 2011:
OK so the patient received treatment to "correct" his "toxidermie". I wouldn't call this "corrective treatment". But then again what would I know?
pooja_chic (asker) Sep 5, 2011:
SJLD Sep 3, 2011:
Perhaps if you gave us a few sentences preceding the one beginning with "L'évolution..."
SJLD Sep 3, 2011:
please help us help you So the patient was being treated for disease x with drug y. Developed maculopapular rash and so was put on treatment to "correct" the rash. Is that right? In that case we would not talk of "corrective treatment".
pooja_chic (asker) Sep 3, 2011:
eg:Maculopapular rash
Michael Barnett Sep 3, 2011:
What was being corrected? Was the scenario as follows? In the course of some treatment, the patient became hypokalemic. Diffu-K (potassium chloride) was administered to correct the hypokalemia. The patient then developed a rash. The experts and the lab doubted that the Diffu-K was to blame for the rash and it was restarted with excellent tolerance.
pooja_chic (asker) Sep 2, 2011:
Its about skin rashes ..
SJLD Sep 2, 2011:
What medical problem is being treated with this "traitement correcteur". This makes all the difference to the translation. "Corrective treatment" would be used in only a few specific circumstances.
