Spanish term

DC (in the subject line of a police report)

Spanish to English Other Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs police report
Can anybody help with this acronym please?

It's from the first few lines of a police report which read as follows:

Oficio No.: XXXXXXX
Destinado a: Juzgado de instrucción de guardia número uno de XXXXX
Asunto: DC. Fallecimiento en vía pública

The text describes how and when the police were called, the particulars of the person who called the police, and those of the person requiring assistance. It then describes how an ambulance was called, the steps taken by paramedics and how the body was eventually taken away by funeral services. It also includes the details of the person to contact in the event of an accident as detailed in the deceased's passport.

Any help much appreciated!
