I chose the plural over the singular form because a) it sounded more poetic/literary and captured the feel of the title in Spanish better, and b) the plural does not necessarily need to refer to multiple gardens, but rather a collection of smaller ornamental areas: http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/garden?q=gardens

For mi point of view, your suggestion is correct. But I will give several options:
- “The Jasmine Garden” (without “s”)
- “The Garden of Jasmine”, “Garden of Jasmine”, “A Garden of Jasmine”
In English, “jasmine” has not inflections,
