Spanish term

Colectivo de tesorería

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Computers (general)
Context: report on a new computing system for a bank in Spain.

Page title: "Batch process for classification"

• "sístemas estructurales: X (Colectivo de tesorería), participantes financieros (Banco X)."

"structural systems: X (treasury collective), financial participants"?

Anyone have a better suggestion?

“treasury group”

Hello Franglese,

I read your question and context.

The Spanish noun “colectivo” has different translations according to the Collins Bilingual Dictionary. One of these translations I think plugs better than “collective” in your case. This translation is: “group”.

For this reason, I suggest to translate “Colectivo de tesorería¨ as “treasury group”.

I hope you like my suggestion.

Regards

Domingo

treasury department

Difficult to tell if it fits, but a colectivo is a group of people

I think it is another way of saying the same thing, I just proposed Department because it is more commonly used in this context than "group" which as I say it also means.
Note from asker:
is that not "departamento de Tesorería" or is it an alternative way of putting it?
