Both асфальтировщики and варильщики are asphalt workers. Aсфальтировщики are pavers and варильщики actually mix the asphalt (at the plant or on site). There seem to be many different job titles for this, but this is the most general one I found.

: Looking online, варить асфальт is called asphalt mixing and the machine is a mixer or a mixing kettle. In any case, the word "mixing" seems to be important :)
