This is a book on shoes, with illustrations showing the shoes, and several of them describe a shoe as "destalonado", which I would initially interpret as heel-less or something of the sort put more elegantly. However, when I look at the pictures, all the "destalonado" shoes indeed have heels, so I have no idea what they might be referring to.

Although according to my reference, the shoes could also be 'mules'. It depends on whether the shoes have a strap going around the heel of the foot.
