German term

Prontoware

German to English Marketing Retail
This is dealing with supply in the fashion business. The sentence is talking about not having any NoS but having a lot of Prontoware instead. I take this to mean some form of immediately available goods but don't know the correct term for this in English.
Proposed translations (English)

Discussion

Andrea Garfield-Barkworth (asker) Nov 14, 2012:
@writeaway, yes for the understanding but as it is a trade magazine the initials don't need to be explained in full. Similarly with PoS.
writeaway Nov 14, 2012:
Thanks! Is this what you're using for NOS: http://deu.proz.com/kudoz/german_to_english/textiles_clothin... ?
Andrea Garfield-Barkworth (asker) Nov 14, 2012:
Deswegen gibt es statt NoS auch viel Prontoware von XY's, wie im vergangenen Herbst zum Beispiel gefragte Gabardinehosen in Senf.

This is the full sentence. Company XY have their own production plant making the company more flexible.

Would "instant merchandise" be an idea?
writeaway Nov 14, 2012:
@freekfluweel that would appear to be the most obvious answer but without some context in German, it's just a guess. I don't think that Asker wants a guess.
And yes, I found that German-Italian Kudoz question too. It shows up immediately on Google. But let's wait for some context please.
writeaway Nov 14, 2012:
please post the sentence in German. And maybe even a bit more than just one sentence.
