The author and his family are doing some yardwork. He stops what he was doing and "yo pinto de rojo el pie de remache: un pie de hierro, soldado a una punta que ha sido clavada firmemente sobre una base de roble macizo, labrada con hacha. Una vez pintado el hierro, coloco la pieza sobre media rodaja de tronco de roble, como de 60 cintímetros de alto y otro tanto de ancho . . . . Un homenaje a Joan Miró . . . ."
Sounds like modern garden sculpture. Am I on the right track? I'm just having trouble visualizin this thing.
