I have a doubt concerning the expression "waarvan beroep" in the sentence:
[…] bekrachtigt het vonnis van de rechtbank d.d. XXX, waarvan beroep, aldus dat XXX wordt veroordeeld tot […]
Can it be translated as "contra la cual existe apelación"? Or has it a different meaning?
