- NAVIGATION UNIT: Has a stabilised acceleration measuring platform from which other data is computed.
- MODE SELECTOR UNIT (MSU): Used to switch the unit ON and to select the mode.
- CONTROL & DISPLAY UNIT (CDU): Used to key in data to the system.
