i - is a suffix
i - is a suffix for the definite form. Non-definite form is "tambur".
The definite form is "tamburi".
The spelling of "tamburyi" might either be an older version of the Albanian language (which has changed a lot comparing to the one 100-200 years ago), or it might be a spelling mistake.
Hope this helps,
Borana Moisiu

TAMBURYI 2
Tambur i vogël
To be honest, i don't know what TAMBURYI 2 means, since it doesn't make ny sense in albanian. Little drum would only be "Tambur i vogël".

Tamburi means 'the drum' and 'tambur' means 'a drum'. The spelling with a 'y' is not a spelling for an Albanian word. So the Albanian word will be TAMBUR/I only.
