http://books.google.ie/books?id=Mu7MmTXkPeAC&pg=PA621 mentions "preserved creatine" but it's not clear what is meant. Perhaps the NAA/Cr value subsequent to a decrease - possibility 2.
Your text may mean "stored creatine" though although this seems tautological - maybe a distinction is being made between that and "external creatine" which might stimulate its release - possibility 3.

The only GHits are like "pic de choline associée à une diminution du NAA, avec une créatine conservée, est fortement évocatrice de tumeur cérébrale" which is describing the reduction in the ratio as being due to an NAA decrease with creatine unchanged. I suppose that suggests an unlikely possibility 4, "ratio of NAA to an unchanged creatine value".
