I would guess that toxicology would be used to determine skin poisoning, due to the use or contact of certain chemicals....

: Maybe or not ... depends on context. Watch your spelling.// Good that you updated the spelling. Now, what would this have to do with a biopsy report?

Embedded in toto.
SIT = Se incluye totalmente or embedded in toto.
Adding this answer here for future reference and to update terminology to include "in toto", despite being closed for quite some time.
Adding this answer here for future reference and to update terminology to include "in toto", despite being closed for quite some time.
Example sentence:
Fragmento de tejido fibroadiposo de 1.5 cm. BIT/1C
Fragment of adipose tissue measuring 1.5 cm. Embedded in toto in 1 cassette.
Discussion
SIT in Spanish means "Se incluye totalmente"
SIT /1C in Spanish means "Se incluye totalmente en un cassette"
What it basically means is that non of the sample was saved and it was entirely submitted.
This explanation fit my context exactly.
Many thanks to this informant and also to Luke for your reply.
