There's no doubt that "planta maderable" is a timber tree (by definition, if it produces timber it's a tree, so there's not much point in saying 'plants'). However, I'm wondering if "trasladadas" might refer back to "siembras," meaning that the trees were transplanted. In other words these would be tree plantations, as opposed to natural forest.
