How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

So sometimes this can be calculated, using formulæ that are standard in the industry; or soemtimes it may be based on empirical experience: "Last time we made it 10 cm and it broke, so this time we'd better make it 20 cm!"

Well, it all depends on what the actual 'capaity' means in your wider document — you haven't given us much context to work from!
It could mean the 'capacity' (= volume) of a container; or then again, it might means the 'capacity' in terms of output (so many parts per hour, etc.); or then again, it could even mean some other capacity, like 'current-carrying capacity'?
My understanding is that there may be a difference between the theoreticl capaicty, as planned during the sizing operation, and the actual capacity, as observed during testing; but of course other scenarios are also possible.
So I would understand 'sizing capacity' as being 'the capacity according to the design process used to determine the size'

Right, so that's a big help, we now know what KIND of capacity is involved; I don't think it changes the underlying meaning of 'sizing', though: it seems to me what they may be highlighting here is any potential discrepancy between design (= sizing) capacity and actual measured (= tested) capacity.

D.S. means dry solids. |

Discussion
It all depends on what has to be 'sized'. I had to translate the term today, and the text was about installing telephones in a certain place. In this case, sizing referred to the number of phone booths, etc.
