Hello everyone,

any suggestions for the translation of 'blind spot scenario'?

Blind spot scenario.
The focus of the Control Owner lies on mitigating the controls rated as “Ineffective”.
If over the years the individual Control effectiveness statement is rated as “Effective”, mitigating actions are followed up and the entity is in control.
However when the majority of the Controls within the entity are rated as “Effective”, the focus of the Control Owner could shift to those “Effective” Controls.
Controls rated as “Ineffective” already have management attention and will be followed up, whereas Controls rated as “Effective” might be a false positive: a blind spot.
