This is in a manual for a gear inspection machine. The parts measured by the machine include cylindrical gears, helical gears, bevel gears etc.

In the manual, there are many references to a "part print". I assume (but I'm not sure) this refers to a reproduction of the technical drawing of the part, e.g. a blueprint.

As per the client's glossary, "part" should be "artikel".

EXAMPLE:

"Entering the parameters for a new part is simply a matter of entering dimensions from the part blueprint (part print) or process sheet into the corresponding text boxes on the Part Parameters tab. The program calculates much of the dimensional information collected on the tab, based on parameters you've entered from the part print. Calculated values should always be checked against those on the part print, and the print values used in case of discrepancies."
