Spanish term

horno de suela

Spanish to English Art/Literary Food & Drink bread-baking
This is a bread company explaining how they bake their bread. The exact phrase is: "Horneados en horno de suela, consiguiendo así más greña y una suela espectacular". I am not sure what a horno de suela is.

knuckle-rapping! Yes, I actually had two questions in one, and one was solved, so this is the doubt still pending!

I've worked out what happened I managed to find that your previous question has been removed - your knuckles have been well rapped! So, understandably, you're asking again. Good luck!

Am I going mad... ...or did you ask this same question a few days ago?

stone oven

It seems that "suela" means the stone bottom of the oven, from what I found on a website:

Encontramos principalmente en dos grandes familias de hornos dependiendo de cómo transmiten el calor al producto: los de convección y los de radiación. O en otras palabras, los de aire y los de suela. En los primeros, el pan está sobre unas latas o bandejas, y le llega el calor mediante corrientes forzadas de aire caliente, mientras que en el segundo tipo, la pieza descansa sobre una suela (piedra) que le irradia el calor.</>

disagree Graham Allen-Rawlings : A stone oven would be an oven made of stone. See this page: http://erikarecord.com/bakers-insight/convection-ovens-vs-de...

I'm, you are right, of course. I did find a few examples of "horno de suela de piedra", so a deck oven can also be made of stone, from what I understand, but they are not equivalents necessarily. Thanks for your correction.
