I found the title before I wrote the piece. In a way, the unspeakable meanings emanating from many of César Vallejo’s poems were the trigger that started the compositional process of this music. However the music is not trying to represent the text. There is no easy path that could illustrate the secret of a dense, refined, and mysterious poetic revelation.

Otra expresión que llama la atención es “heriza” porque es una palabra inventada, al agregársele una “h”. La palabra “eriza” significa ese estado en que nos ponemos rígidos por una cosa, o también es poner obstáculos a las asperezas. ¿Por qué agregar una “h”? Estos son los espacios vacíos que permiten hacer volar al lector. Podemos estar hablando del dolor, condición del “hombre”, que se escribe con “h”, o de la herida que nos provocan esos obstáculos para llegar a nosotros, o tal vez es lo que no suena de eso que nos conmueve.
