libreta

Spanish to English Social Sciences Government / Politics
This is from a treatment for a film by a Uruguayan director. Does it refer to ID? A high school diploma? I am not sure:

Thanks

Uruguay or Argentina? Wendy: The director is Uruguayan, but is the film set in Argentina? This would affect the answer.
Virginia Koolhaas Mar 15, 2016:
@Richard I would still need a driver's license to drive a tractor in Uruguay (type H)

As this refers to a tractor, 'driver's' isn't quite right. 'Licence' would do, the context makes it clear
