Ages 40-50/55. Many successful teachers can be found in administrative positions at various levels, and many have removed themselves from active teaching. They lead and safeguard the school's traditions and sometimes serve as its backbone. On the other hand, some of them feel that they have missed out and they become bitter. They become retrospective about their careers, and attempt to resign themselves to what they perceive as a plateau.
