I think in situation like this since the source text is probably a wrong one (due to phonetic transliteration) which has even two uncertain phonetic names, the best source is to ask the writer to provide the company details if not the name such as whether it is a China-based or Europe/USA based company. The more clues client can provide the better. Of course if it's a audio transcription, it's almost impossible to verify. Just put a note by translator that it's your best guess.
