English term
Nozzle pitch
English to French
Tech/Engineering
Engineering: Industrial
Liquid-filling equipment
I would like to check the meaning of PITCH.
Here is the full sentence:
"Quick adjustment of nozzle pitch (minimum 40mm) by innovative trigger release system"
I have found that pitch refers to the "pas" (here "pas de buses") but there are only a few results so I am not sure.
Thank you !

: Not here, it is clearly 'pitch' in the sense of 'spacing', as Asker says, measured in mm, not ° /No... but HERE it most certainly IS! It is a spacing measured in mm, NOT an angle measured in °

I should think there are probably pretty few hits in EN too for this relatively uncommon term!

That doesn't mean a thing: I very much doubt that the source term gets many more, in this highly specialized field! Whetever you think of the matter, 'pitch' here has the meaning 'pas' and NOT 'angle'; after that, you can argue about the formulation in FR

these grooves.
'Pitch' is only used to mean 'angle' in a small number of very specific contexts.
