There is no ´buy´ button. I think the seller is a small museum, or possibly the Friends of the Museum association, not a shop with a virtual trolley and the usual bits and pieces. If you want the book, you are asked to pay in to the specified bank account and send a mail to the secretary.
It's a very exciting book for a small group of specialists - 95% drawings and a fascinating introduction (that is the best part IMHO) written by one of my favourite clients, but not the most lucrative. I am afraid my complementary copy is going to end up as a door-stop, but if you are madly fascinated by 18th century glass, I can send you the details privately :-)

For online banking it'll be something like "payment details" but for online shopping it'll be something like "message"

(Surely you've already told the seller what to send when you hit the buy button???)

What I am looking for is the line on the virtual pay-in slip that tells the seller what the payment is for.
Eventually, it appears as the line on the bank statement, like the one that says INVOICE 1060 when my client pays me for the last month.
It is the bit that tells the seller what to send to the client, i.e. which particular book they are interested in.

The actual message requested (BOG....) is the shortened title and date of the book.

But in principle, you could write anything about the payment in the meddelelsesfelt.
