Statement following accident with a stacking machine.
"Triangle pesant" seems to be a pretty well-known phrase in geometry...
"Il convient également d’observer que le principe de montage de la machine est celui de la construction d’un triangle pesant – basique en mécanique comme application d’un exercice classique de mathématiques de collège sur la détermination d’un lieu géométrique – comme il a été exposé oralement le 3 mars 2015 par Mme XXX, du service après-vente de la société YYY."
... could it be something like "bottom-heavy triangle"?

heavy triangle
The "exercice classique de mathématiques de collège" is shown in my reference, with a picture. It's a problem in which three people are carrying a heavy triangle with unequal sides, and you have to work out who is carrying the heaviest load.

Thanks... googling ["heavy triangle" mechanics] tends to suggest you've got it right... |

weighting triangle
I'm no mathematician, but a definition of this is here:

: Alas, the chapter in your book deals with weighted quasi-arithmetic means, probably not the case here.

: really can't see how that kind of triangle would apply to this ST

triangle of forces
Low confidence since this is not an expression I have encountered in FR, but the context of "construction" and "exercice classique" suggests something abstract rather than a physical triangle. See http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/StaticEquilibriumAndTriang... for a nice demonstration.

: that seems to me the most probable meaning, but without more context, you could as well decide by throwing dices
