Divorce decree
Hi all,
I'm translating a divorce decree and I'm not quite sure how to translate the name the aforementioned court, especially the "ejecutor de medidas" bit.
The whole sentence is this:
"REPÚBLICA BOLIVARIANA DE VENEZUELA. EN SU NOMBRE, EL TRIBUNAL SEGUNDO DE MUNICIPIO ORDINARIO EJECUTOR DE MEDIDAS DE LOS MUNICIPIOS SAN CRISTÓBAL Y TORBES DE LA CIRCUNSCRIPCIÓN JUDICIAL DEL ESTADO TACHIRA".
Second Ordinary Implementing Local Court? It does not sound right to me...
Thank you

Spanish term (edited):

Selected
(gen) Municipal Court no. 2 of General Jurisdiction and (Ancillary) Relief Enforcement
I think the Tribunal rather than the Municipio is Ordinario and has a dual adjudicatory and enforcement function.
I have avoided both an E&W County Court and US Federal-type District vs. Local Municipal-type Court.
Ordinary-level: lower-end value cost cases or tribunal ordinario: 'court of general jurisdiction': (Tom West III's ES/AmE law dictionary).
Ancillary relief: pertains to a UK divorce.
Second court: usually numbered consecutivel within a Judicial Circuit.
So this is really a mix-and-match answer
