This is for UK English please and is from a CV for a doctor who's now a hospital consultant.
Initially this doctor worked as a turnuslæge (house officer) first in a hospital (12 months)
then in a GP practice (6 months),
then as an Introlæge (6 months in a GP practice)
then as an turnuslæge in a GP practice
and then as an Introlæge in a hospital
and next as a Reservelæge (senior house officer - according to the definitions from the Danish Medical Association).
From reading up on this (Introduktionsstilling*) I initially thought that this position was similar to an internship or foundation programme, but the fact that the doc started as a turnuslæge has me confused.
