My Spanish husband has helped me out with this one! I wasn't sure if the effects of the wind could be seen (for example, crooked trees) or felt.
A weather warning has been put in place by the Met Office with widespread heavy rain expected later today and throughout tomorrow. Winds pick up from the south-west with gusts of up to 40mph.

I've just noticed someone else has posted a suggestion. Please consider mine as another option.
