established precedent

Or "settled case law" or "established case law"

NL technically doesn't have a doctrine of stare decisis, but established case law is acceptable as a guiding principle.

Too busy right now but I will try to provide some refs later on. / On second thoughts, I prefer Bryan's answer (established case law) over my own. It seems 'bestendige jurisprudentie' and 'vaste jurisprudentie' are more or less used as synonyms.
agree philgoddard : 'Accumulated' is not really necessary, since that's what case law does.

Thanks, Phil! / On second thoughts, I prefer Bryan's solution - established case law (i.e. in deciding similar cases) - over my own.
