English term
drain time
English to Dutch
Tech/Engineering
Engineering (general)
lubricants for gas engines
This lubricant offers a wide operation temperature range, low deposit forming performance together with a robust acid neutralization system with protracted field proven drain times.
Could they mean the Dutch expression "standtijd" with this? I have come across standtijd. E.g. that it means that the lubricant remains in place/does not drain during a protracted time?

Standtijd = service life (bijv.)

All the more so since you clearly know what you're talking about and your translation basically is correct but not my preference.
