Italian to English Medical Medical: Health Care Medical History

"Giunge in pronto soccorso in quanto da alcuni giorni presenta un peggioramento dello stato di coscienza, con pi1l1- marcata sonnolenza."

Is this a reference to the phi rhythm? and what does 1|1 mean? is it possible just a nonsense term that has found its way into the report?
