CIISE

Latin Other Linguistics language
THE WORD IS ciise, i'm not sure what language it is, but I
do know it's not latin or french,I'm translating an 13
century manuscript writen in ancient latin, but in my latin
text there is no such word.

1) You do know it's not Latin while you're translating a manuscript written in ancient Latin?
2) In "your" Latin text there is no such word? What do you mean by "your" text if it does not refer to the text you are translating?
3) Did you know that in the English language the names of languages (Latin, French, etc.) are capitalized and the word "writen" is spelled with two T's?

4) \"13\" starts with a T, therefore it should be \"*A* 13-century manuscript\" not \"an 13 century.\"

agree Patricia Baldwin : Yeah! Context please!!!maybe he is translating into French and asker is not fluent oin English yet tried to ask the question in English and gave us all a big headache.

Hi Chris, I agree... then is it Gospel of Jesus Christ...or should asker come to terms and seek the right pair...Latin French.Latin English??..?
