received an S-ICD between
English to Spanish
Medical
Medical: Cardiology
Catheters, introductors, ICD
"Consecutive patients who received an S-ICD between were implanted using the two-incision technique, which positions the parasternal part of the S-ICD electrode using a standard 11Fr peel away sheath."
I'm working on a clinical evaluation report for introducers and there are references to other articles about procedures using those medical devices for a variety of purposes. In this one, titled "Two-incision technique for implantation of the subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator" (http://www.revespcardiol.org/es/tecnica-dos-incisiones-impla... I don't understand the meaning of "between" in that context.
Any help would be appreciated.

Buen trabajo!
Saludos!

Note from asker:

"Ports were placed in 216 patients between using a single-incision technique via the axillary vein".
Esta cita pertenece a un artículo titulado "A single-incision technique for placement of implantable venous access ports via the axillary vein".
"Ports were placed in 216 patients between May and October 2012 using a single-incision technique via the axillary vein". (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24613268)
"Consecutive patients who received an S-ICD between October 2010 and December 2011 were implanted using the two-incision technique". (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23707489)
