@tadeusz50: Your appreciation is an award in itself.

Frank I wish I could award you points at least for the reference material but unfortunately it is not possible, thanks a lot :)
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Feb 11, 2018:
Your ideas appear reasonable. I understand probative features as symptoms/medical data that have value in reaching the final diagnosis.
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Feb 11, 2018:
Próbowałem też cechy prognostyczne i przewidujące, ale one mają inne definicje.
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Feb 11, 2018:
Probative features wyglądaja na cechy diagnostyczne.

Note from asker:
Dzięki za materiał, przydał się. Myślę, że jednak przetłumaczę jako cechy aprobatywne, a uzasadniałby to inny kontekst: In effect, the CDS system operates as an information retrieval system which retrieves similar past medical cases, and may also retrieve or particularly identify relevant medical test results or other case information that is likely to be probative for a present diagnosis or other present medical decision.
