P/S CR

English to French Other Education / Pedagogy Grade records
Hello,

I'm working on a US grade record and when it recaps the grades of each quarter, it starts with "P/S CR". I assume CR eans Credits, but does nayone know what P/S means?

FYI here are the other categories:

P/S CR CR ERN (I guess this is earned credits) GPA CR (total of credits) GPTS (total of points) GPA (average)

More details from the WCC website Ces notes donnent des crédits, mais pas de « Grade Points » et ne sont donc pas prises en compte dans le « GPA. »
Passes, “P” indicates a passing grade for the class but does not satisfy the prerequisite for other classes.

S/U: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory Certain classes are designated S/U grading only.

Grades S and P do not carry grade point values and are, therefore, not computed into the student’s grade point average. Note: Credit is awarded for S and P grades. A student’s grade point average is computed on a quarterly and cumulative basis. »

je vois Donc le P/S pourrait vouloir indiquer Previous Semester alors? Quand je reçois des abréviations, je demande toujours à l'auteur d'en préciser la signification car c'est une perte de temps que de tenter de deviner.

Pass / Superior CR Credit

S not included in GPA superior (alternative grade)
P not included in GPA passing (alternative grade)

Alternative Grading:

S (superior) and P (pass) grades are used in place of regular grades A and B, respectively, for courses graded S, P, C, D, E and S, P, E, K. S and P grades are NOT included in the calculation of the GPA, nor do they count toward meeting the criteria for dean's list, honorable mention, or academic distinctions.

CR Credit:The grade of CR is a passing grade awarded for courses taken by Special Examination for Credit. Failing grades are not recorded. The CR grade is NOT included in the GPA.

CR grade for 930 house numbered courses: the grade of CR is awarded upon completion of degree requirements
