It sounds to me like the credit union members will receive dividends on their shares and a share in profits, but I'm not familiar with the use of "patrocinio" in that sense... Can anyone confirm? (The country is Puerto Rico). Any help will be appreciated.

As I see it, we are looking at a rebate paid out to (member) borrowers of the credit union:

que poseen acciones de la Cooperativa y el pago de
