Spanish term

Broche de perico

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Fasteners/Clasps

I am trying to find the correct term for this type of fastener in English. The spanish is "broche o tope tipo perico" in a technical document describing the assembly on a metal poster cabinet.

double roller catch

I think the one in your picture is specifically one of these:

Just occasionally, as in the first image, you get them with a C-clip rather than the one where the element is inserted between the rollers, but they're nearly always the latter. It can be called a male double roller catch, but I don't think you need to specify.

Many thanks, John :-) Me parece que por defecto "double roller catch" es este tipo; cuando se trata del otro, se concreta "double roller C clip catch".

double roller catch with spear

The answwer has to be more speicific as there is another type of double roller catch that utilizes a C-clip around the rollers.
