A więc chodzi o "natural cellulose" pochodzenia roślinnego (nie wiem czemu w tłumaczeniu pojawia się "vegetable" a nie "plant" (DE: pflanzliche), ale BIng tłumaczy pflanzliche jako "ziołowe" (herbal) a Google Translate jako "vegetable"....no coż...

Uzupełnienie: jeżeli tłumaczysz dla polskiego naukowca, to spróbuj wspólnie z nim wymyśleć polskie określenie. Np. zaproponuj coś i zapytaj, czy OK, czy jednak jakoś inaczej?

Naprawdę koniec na ten temat z mojej strony.

Jest możliwe, że w Polsce ani jeden naukowiec nie zajmuje się tymi zagadnieniami, więc wniosek: polska terminologia jeszcze nie została wymyślona.

Może zapytaj klienta, czy jeszcze powinieneś tłumaczyć, czy zrezygnować? Bo niewykluczone, że wykonasz kawał dobrej, ale niepotrzebnej i zbędnej roboty.

No i takie wynajduję zazwyczaj. Gorzej tylko w przypadku, gdy wynajduję nowe określenie, a istnieje już ogólnie przyjęte, o którym nie wiedziałem :)

Zgodnie z zaleceniami rzeczników - jeśli jest problem, to trzeba tłumaczyć najbardziej dosłownie. W tym przypadku byłaby to zatem "samo-celuloza"...

Opisy patentowe dotyczą wynalazków, a zatem - gdy dotychczasowa terminologia nie wystarcza - niezbędne jest wynajdywanie nowych określeń.

Nie wykluczam, że nie mam racji.
