português term

cargo inacumulável

português para inglês Direito/Patentes Recursos humanos Human Resources
Hello,
The term is from a letter from the Human Resources Department of the Regional Electoral Court of Bahia.
Below please find the complete sentences:

CERTIFICO, ainda, que o referido cargo foi declarado vago em 29/12/2003, conforme Alo n° 48, de 05/02/2004, publicado no Diário do Poder Judiciário cm 06/02/2004, em virtude de posse em outro cargo inacumulável.

Thanks!

Discussion

Mark Robertson May 15, 2019:
This is an interesting one for word geeks. The PT word inacumulável means not capable of being combined/accumulated. So, by rights, the equivalent EN term should be non-cumulable. However, the word cumulable appears not to exist and the accepted translation is non-cumulative. This leaves a meaning gap because cumulative does not mean capable of being cumulated/accumulated, but means formed by accumulation.
Emily Tell (asker) May 15, 2019:
It should be "Ato n. 48" not "Alo". Apologies for the typo.
