: Not just any workout, but conditioning, that is, focused training on a certain set of skills or muscle groups as part of a focus goal or overall support to prevent injury.

Thanks Rebecca. You could be right, but where I live, "acondicionamiento" just means doing exercise. Despite it being a cognate, I haven't heard it used to mean "conditioning" (i.e., as opposed to "strength").
