B D Finch Sep 24, 2019: @Asker As Daryo and Nicolas have pointed out, your term doesn't make much sense without context. The reason why translators still exist in a world dominated by IT and AI is that we have a better understanding of context, and its application to translation, than computers do.

Nicolas Gambardella Sep 24, 2019: stricter definition Actually, to be pedantic, mean and median are both averages. An average is a number representing a whole bunch of others. It can be arithmetic mean, geometric mean, median, mode, etc. However, in everyday speech, the average is the arithmetic mean. In any case, the enumeration above does not make sense.
