English term

thrown

Non-PRO English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation thrown
He's thrown for three TDs, 200 yards, and he deflated four footballs.

It is sarcastic way to present a american football player. I didn't get what "thrown" here!

Thanks in advance,

Note from asker:
I thought it is throw, but using "He is" confused me a bit. Thank you.
He is really quarterback. What 200 yards stands for here if main task of the quarterback is throwing the ball? Thanks.
