Portuguese term

Mousse de aves

Non-PRO Portuguese to English Other Cooking / Culinary Menu
Does "Poultry mousse" sound right to you?
I only get references for this term when is is related to cat food.
This is an appetizer in a restaurant menu.

Thanks in advance

Mousse de aves Poultry mousse does not sound fine. I think you will have to contact the client and ask them to specify. It could be chicken mouse or duck mouse. Poultry sounds like they are trying to hide something and I certainly would not buy/eat such a vague sounding food item

disagree Janet Silva : poultry refers to domesticated birds that we eat like chicken, farm ducks etc. not gamebirds
