informal market

We investigate the coexistence of formal and informal markets. In formal markets, we assume sellers can publicly advertise their prices and locations, whereas in informal markets, sellers need to trade through bilateral bargaining so as to remain anonymous from the taxing authority.

neutral Andrew Bramhall : the trouble with ' informal market' is that no one would say it; unidiomatic, unfortunately.

I added a couble of examples for you. It is quite a common term in the context of less developed nations

disagree AllegroTrans : You have given 3 terms that are not anywhere synonyms

I know that they are not synonyms, but I considered that they may refer to the foreign term "comersio informal", but may be included considerably more in this term. Posted link says a lot. Thank you for your attention.
disagree Yvonne Gallagher : Constructive economy / Employment promotion are not synonyms or tranlations

agree Robert Carter : Informal/grey/shadow economy are the synonyms. I don't understand why you would use those other terms (which, as the disagreeing posters rightly said, are wrong).

Thank you very much. Primarily I thought about term - Informal economy. "Informal" and "Constructive" are using as synonyms sometimes, then I posted other two terms as some kind attachment. "Employment promotion" is implicit by the key term. Regards

shadow economy

A euphemism for "black market", a long-standing expression which is probably frowned upon nowadays in certain circles.

"... so the stocks don't begin in the official economy and end up in the shadow economy"
Example sentence:

Although exported legally, they end up on the black market and become a source of income

agree Robert Carter : Strongly agree with this. "Also called the underground, informal, or parallel economy, the shadow economy includes not only illegal activities but also unreported income..." https://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/issues/issues30/

unofficial market

Hi! I've seen it translated like this in a newspaper in English here in Argentina.
I think they meant what in Argentina is called "economía popular", a kind of social economy in which cooperatives, and grassroots associations take part in.
