Contrary laterality

"We found a lack in diagnosis criteria for laterality disorders so we had to establish at first those criteria and in second time, we could then classify the overall laterality of children in five categories: right-handed, left-handed, not defined, crossed and contrary laterality. Fifty percent of the children in our sample have a not defined or crossed or contrary laterality, but only 14.7 % of these children have learning difficulties too, while 35.3 % have a not defined, crossed or contrary laterality without school's problems."

"Contrary laterality occurs when you are forced to use a domain that you naturally do not use"

neutral philgoddard : Your references are bad translations.

It may be as they are not English sources. But the thing is they point to a difference between crossed and contrary laterality. Crossed seeming to be "chosen" and contrary "forced".
