German term

B-Depot

German to English Bus/Financial Investment / Securities
This is taken from the same text as my previous question about "Bestandsverkäufer", and like there, I know what the term means (e.g. "Ein B-Depot besteht aus Wertpapieren, die einem Anleger gehören. Die Bank verwaltet diese [...].", https://www.godmode-trader.de/know-how/depot,3864148) - but I'm drawing a blank with what we'd actually call it in English!

e.g. "Dies zeigt sich insbesondere dann, wenn aus irgendwelchen Gründen der im A- und B-Depot des Kreditinstituts bei CBF insgesamt verbuchte Bestand geringer sein sollte, als die Summe der in den Depots der Kunden bei dem Kreditinstitut verbuchten Bestände."

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you - I ended up going for your second option of "third-party securities account" (which Daniel also suggested, but I think you got there first!)"

Custody account

Custodial account is also used, but I found that has two meanings. I don't think there is an established strict term. This is what UBS calls them. But you might also call them third-party securities account and there are many other options.

< Client Investors' > B-Class securities trust account

The mian reason I have not used 'custodial a/c' is because Daniel A. got there - or near there - first.

That apart, it's an idea to be wary of escrow account for UK consumption. It's liable to be open to ambiguity with the US meaning of a stakeholder money a/c as opposed to an account of deed-escrow, namely deeds of conveyance held subject to a condition or conditions - the latter being the only meaning in the City of London in 'my day'.

Again, B Class is not supposed to reflect the US-Am corporate-law or GB company-law definitions of such stocks.
Example sentence:

Class B shares are a share class of common stock of a corporation
