French term

Podium

French to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations
Hi everyone,

This term is used to refer to the three base parts of this POS stand: https://ibb.co/pRBVG8K.

I've gone with "base" for now, but am hesitating whether to opt for "podium", although I've never heard it used like this in English.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best,
Nick

podium

A podium is a raised platform like the kind Olympians stand on when they win a medal or like the overturned crate in the garage where you pretend to accept your Academy Award.

Note from asker:
Thanks everyone! Do you think this is preferable to "base". As far as I can tell, all they are are base parts.
