överförmyndare i samverkan

Swedish to English Law/Patents Law (general) guardianship
Could anyone tell me what *överförmyndare i samverkan*(it's the logo at the top of a form) is in (UK) English please?
I'm doing some deceased estate stuff, certificates, etc.
Thanks in advance.

@ Pia and all Hello
You could read an article like
https://blog.amplexor.com/localization-strategy-translating-...
to get some ideas.
But as a translator, you may also find that you can't easily translate a logo with text in a document for technical reasons (logos are often images)
In which case, I've seen translators insert a translation underneath the logo in [] if the text of the logo does not occur in the body of the text, where it can be translated more easily

I'm not even sure it's a logo with text as this only seems to occur on the following website

https://ois.skovde.se/

but not on other Swedish websites with "överförmyndare i samverkan"

If it is a specific logo - should you translate it?

E&W: Chief Registrar of District Probate Registries Scots: Confirmation & Executry Sheriff Principal

Probate is called letters of confirmation North of the Border where it is not a good idea to use the English term. So Deane's suggestion would IMO work throughout the UK: quaere the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

överförmyndare :

1. Chief Guardian; Br. domstol > Court of Chancery; äv: Public Trustee > Gullberg. Note that, in E&W, the Principal Probate Registry on High Holborn in London is now part of the Family Div. of the High Court, but disputes have been traditionallly dealt with by the Chancery Div.

2. särskild, *kommunvis* tillsatt person som skall öva den närmaste tillsysnen över förmyndarnas förvaltning > Juridikens termer, Almqvist & Wiksell.

PRs in E&W means personal representative and includes executors where there is a Will and adminsitrators on intestacy.

BTW, the UK and Irish Societies of Trust and Estate Practitioners are professional bodies that may include non-lawyers.
Example sentence:

The probate registry is part of the HM Courts & Tribunal Service. It issues legal documents which give people the authority to deal with the estate of someone who has died.

Scotland: 'Confirmation' is a legal document from the court giving the executor(s) authority to uplift any money or other property belonging to a deceased person from the holder (such as the bank), and to administer and distribute it according to law.

Public Trustee

You can appoint the Public Trustee as the executor of your estate to deal with your property and money after you die if: there's no suitable person who's willing and able to act as executor at that time, eg someone who's over 18, isn't bankrupt and doesn't have a criminal conviction.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Deane Goltermann : This is for the supervisory agency, not the actual trustees and administrators. And apparently these municipalities have joined together to have a single unit supervise, while other municipalities have their own supervisory units or arrangements..

See if this is helpful. Not UK but still ...

I figured you found the 'samverkan' part, this seems to be a group of western Swedish communities pooling resources for this supervisory activity, as defined here in wikipedia. https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Överförmyndare

Hope this helps!
