French term

Diffusion

French to English Law/Patents Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright
Hi everyone,

I have always translated this term as "disseminate" or "publish" or sometimes both. However, I'm working on a contract involving IP rights for a range of promotional material being assigned to the client, and I'm starting to wonder whether "broadcast" would be appropriate in an IP context, although obviously not used in this way in normal parlance. Here's the sentence:

Cheers,
Nick
