The service provider explained that this was the Dr. saying the patient needed a referral to the Mastology department for the next steps in the patients treatment....... I'm struggling to put this into words to be similar to the Spanish version

: Nice translation. I agree specifically with "plan" for "conducta;" we want to use the common term in the target language. Speaking of which ... there's nothing wrong with translating "servicio" directly as "service;" this is also a common term.
